Direct flights to Abakan have been launched from Sochi

Direct flights were launched between Sochi and the Republic of Khakassia as part of a program to subsidize regional air transportation. This is reported by the press service of the group of companies "Aerodynamics", which includes the Sochi International Airport named after V. I. Sevastyanov.

"Sochi International Airport named after V. I. Sevastyanov, part of the Aerodynamics Group of companies, announces the expansion of the route network together with NordStar Airline. Flights to the Republic of Khakassia began from the main air harbor of the south. NordStar Airlines has started operating flights on the Sochi - Abakan route," the message reads.

It is specified that the flights are operated by Boeing 737-800 vessels with a capacity of 180 passengers. Passengers can depart from Sochi Airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays, flights depart from Abakan on Wednesdays and Sundays.

"The air service between Sochi and Abakan will be carried out within the framework of the regional air transportation subsidy program, which should help expand opportunities for organizing business trips between the regions and increase the attractiveness of the tourist destination," the press service added.
