Rosaviation has issued Azimut Airlines a permit to operate flights from Mineralnye Vody International Airport in the Stavropol Territory to Beijing. Permission has also been issued for flights from Minvod to Samarkand, Navoi and other countries, the press service of the administration of the Mineralovodsk city district told reporters on Tuesday.
"Rosaviation has issued Azimut Airlines a permit to operate flights to Beijing from Mineralnye Vody International Airport," the message reads. It is noted that the Federal Air Transport Agency also issued a permit for international flights from Minvod Airport to Namangan, Urgench, Fergana, Nukus, Navoi, Bukhara, Andijan, Samarkand.
"The first flights may take place this summer. I am sure that this will allow not only our residents to get acquainted with the countries of the East, but also to attract foreign tourists to our region," said Vyacheslav Sergienko, the head of the Mineralovodsk city district, whose words are quoted in the message.
