Israel approves fourth dose of vaccine for elderly and healthcare workers

Nahman Ash, Director-General of the Israeli Ministry of Health, approved on Sunday the introduction of the fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine to people aged 60 and over and healthcare workers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Jewish state.

“The decision was made taking into account the increase in the incidence,” the statement explains. “The fourth dose of the vaccine will be available to the indicated persons, provided that four months have passed since the date of receiving the third injection,” the Ministry of Health added.
