Indian Ministry of Health notes a decline in cases below 40,000 people a day

In India, the total number of confirmed infections reached 9,222,216 on November 25, after 44,376 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the previous day. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Health of the country.

The Indian Ministry of Health notes that on November 23, for the first time in almost a week, the number of daily cases of the disease fell below 40,000, and deaths fell below 500.

However, there was a sudden surge in COVID-19 in New Delhi, where 24 hours, there were 6224 new cases and 109 deaths. There are now 38,501 confirmed cases in the Indian capital.

In addition, many experts say that the approaching cold winter will create even more difficulties in the fight against the epidemic, in connection with which hundreds of temporary shelters have been set up in New Delhi.

Also in an attempt to avoid mass gatherings during the wedding season and winter holidays, the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has allowed all states to impose their own curfew rules between December 1st and 31st.

Currently in India there are 444,746 active cases of coronavirus infection, while 8,642,771 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
