India records hottest April in 122 years

Some states in India recorded the hottest April in 122 years.


The northwest and a number of parts of central India experienced the hottest April in the last 122 years with monthly average and maximum temperatures of 35.9 and 37.8 degrees Celsius, respectively. This was reported on Sunday by the NDTV channel with a link to the information received from the Meteorological Department of India.

The average temperature observed across India in April was 35.05 degrees, the fourth highest in 122 years.
