In Mongolia, the Russian language was honored - the language of great literature

On November 18-19, Mongolia hosted the event "Russian Language - the Language of Great Literature", which was organized in a remote format as part of the project "Russian Cultural Space through the Prism of Language", aimed at popularizing the Russian language and culture, including in the context of significant dates and memorable events related to Russian culture. 

Representatives from 14 countries joined the event online: Russia, Greece, Kyrgyzstan, China, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Latvia, Italy, Montenegro and Armenia.

The participants were presented with rich information and illustrative methodological material for working with the vocabulary of the Russian language. Particular attention was paid to the legacy of Vladimir Ivanovich Dahl. At the conference “You Can’t Understand Russia with the Mind”: Language, Speech, Culture”, well-known Mongolian educators made presentations: Puntsagiin Altantsetsen - Professor, Pushkin Russianist, Zhamyansurengiin Enkhchimeg - advanced worker Education of Mongolia, teacher of the Russian language at school No. 33 named after Moscow, Zhamyansurengiin Enkhtuya - honorary teacher of Mongolia, director of the Russian language center at the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar, school No. 84. Tamara Kryukova, a Russian author of books for children and youth, spoke about the adaptation of her literary works.

The event was organized by the Autonomous non-profit organization of higher education "Institute of Continuing Education". 

The project "Russian cultural space through the prism of language" is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
