On the peninsula, in the city of Vilyuchinsk, for the 36th time they paid their debt to the memory of the submariners of the nuclear submarine "K-429".

The nuclear-powered ship sank on June 24, 1983 in Sarannaya Bay due to a technical malfunction. On this occasion, a rally was held in Vilyuchinsk at a memorial stone with the names of sailors who did not return from the campaign.

The ceremony was attended by the command of the Russian Pacific Fleet, as well as veterans and members of the Youth Army. The personnel of the submarine of the Pacific Fleet marched in front of the monument. A gun salute was also given.
