Indonesian doctors have vaccinated about 30% of the citizens of the republic with the second component of the coronavirus vaccine. This was reported on Thursday on the information portal of the Ministry of Health of Indonesia.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 80.9 million people in Indonesia have been fully vaccinated. At the same time, 127.3 million people received the first component of the vaccine.

It is noted that over the past 24 hours, 480 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the republic, 14 people have died. In total, during the pandemic in Indonesia, which is home to 270.2 million people, more than 4.2 million cases of coronavirus infection were recorded, more than 143 thousand people died, more than 4 million patients recovered.

Previously, the Indonesian government announced plans to fully vaccinate about 80% of citizens to achieve herd immunity. On November 9, the country's authorities extended quarantine restrictions outside the islands of Java and Bali until November 22.
