Ice sculpture competition opened in Yakutsk

The participants were teams from Russia, Canada, Mongolia, China and Belarus.
As part of the Winter Starts in Yakutia festival, which will be held from November 25 to 30 in the Northern Lights ice park, the Diamonds of Yakutia international competition will take place.
Representatives from different countries will compete for the best performance of ice and snow sculptures.
This year the theme of the competition was "Tales of the peoples of the world." Participants have three days to complete their works, after which their sculptures will be evaluated by a competent jury.
The competition is held in two categories: the creation of ice and snow sculptures. The winners will be awarded on November 30 and December 1.
