The government of the Altai Territory held a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of Russian Science and honoring the winners of the regional competition "Intellectual Capital of Altai".
Leading scientists of the region received awards for achievements in scientific and scientific-pedagogical activity from the hands of the Governor of the Altai Territory Viktor Tomenko.
The scientists of the Altai State Agrarian University were also awarded.
The gratitude of the Governor of the Altai Territory for many years of conscientious work and high professionalism was awarded to Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of General Agriculture, Crop Production and Plant Protection Stalin Zharkov.
The gratitude of the chairman of the Altai Regional Legislative Assembly was awarded to Candidate of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Mathematics, Mechanics and Engineering Graphics, curator of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition "AgroNTI" Andrey Smyshlyaev.
The head of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technology of the Altai State Agrarian University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vladimir Belyaev received an award for winning the regional competition "Intellectual Capital of Altai" in the nomination "Professor of the Year" (in the direction of "Technical Sciences").
