Former Iranian foreign minister plans to pursue science

After his resignation, Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif intends to devote himself to teaching and scientific work.

The outgoing Foreign Minister of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said that after his resignation he would be engaged exclusively in teaching and scientific work.

“After forty years in diplomacy, I am permanently moving to teaching and scientific work,”  your Twitter page.

Zarif added that the task of his new activity will be to promote the idea of "a dialogue based on empathy, mutual respect and equality."

On Monday, Zarif posted a video on the social network "Instagram", where he thanked the Iranians for support and sorry for shortcomings and shortcomings  work as head of the Foreign Ministry.

On August 11, the new President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, proposed the Advisor to the Speaker of the Iranian Majlis (Parliament) for International Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, to the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country. For approval, his candidacy must be approved by Parliament.
