Forest skating rink opened in Abakan

An unusual skating rink among the trees was created together with local residents. Many helped clear the area of old plantings. Locating the skating rink in the Park of Culture and Leisure was not an easy task. The ground was uneven. Therefore, before pouring ice, it was necessary to create a compacted snow cushion. Every day, guests of the square came to the future ice rink and trampled down the snow.

The park management, in turn, allocated the necessary equipment for pouring ice. Warm weather did not allow to finish the work on time. 
 
Everyone can go skating and it's free. The skating rink is made in the form of paths winding among the trees, which are connected in one place. For visitors to the skating rink, places for recreation are equipped. The forest skating rink is open daily.
