Within the framework of the plenary session, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow Sergey Cheremin noted that 2020 was quite critical in terms of a drop in foreign economic turnover, but this year's statistics already inspire some optimism.

Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow:

“The foreign trade turnover of Moscow residents with the EAEU countries is growing seriously. In many countries it is more than 20%-25% of the total foreign economic turnover of Moscow residents. We plan to improve measures to control trade and transit traffic monitoring systems within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. Also, Moscow is extremely interested in expanding not raw materials, of course, but high-tech exports of its products.
