The Day of Russian Students was vividly celebrated at the Altai State Agrarian University

The solemn part of the holiday started in the assembly hall of the main building of the ASAU, which gathered more than 500 students, University teachers and its honorary guests.

The rector Nikolay Anatolyevich Kolpakov was the first to congratulate the students of the Altai State University on the holiday. "Student years are the brightest and most unforgettable time in life. The university is not only a storehouse of knowledge, the first step in science, but also a place where a professional personality is formed. Take advantage of this opportunity! Absorb, like a sponge, new knowledge from experienced teachers, use all the possibilities of creative and sports sections, form yourself as a harmoniously developed personality! Happy holiday – the Day of Russian Students!", – said the rector.

Then the Deputy Governor of the Altai Territory Denis Alexandrovich Gubin took the stage, who congratulated the students on the holiday and conveyed greetings on behalf of the Governor of the region Viktor Petrovich Tomenko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Altai Territory Yuri Stepanovich Lukyanov and Director of the Altai regional branch of JSC "Rosselkhoznadzor" Nikolay Evgenievich.

The "Gift from the Rector" campaign has been held in ASAU for the second year. During the week, University students left their wishes in a special telegram channel, the most interesting of which were fulfilled by Rector Nikolai Anatolyevich Kolpakov.

The traditional event of the Day of Russian Students at ASAU is the awarding of the best students of the university in the nominations "Scientist of the Year", "Elder of the Year", "Student of the Year", "Graduate Student of the Year", "Artist of the Year" and "Tatiana of the Year". Honorary certificates were presented to the winners on the stage of the assembly hall by Rector Nikolai Anatolyevich Kolpakov and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Sergey Ivanovich Zavalishin.

The solemn part of the holiday was accompanied by a concert prepared by the creative teams of the Altai State Agrarian University. After that, a festive celebration took place on the territory of the ASAU stadium, during which the rector treated everyone to hot sbiten and rasstegayami, and students of different faculties competed in a fun team relay race.

Also on January 25, the official presentation of the karting club created in ASAU took place. The holiday ended with a flash mob dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the University, which will be celebrated in 2023.
