Taiwan received the first batch of AstraZeneca vaccine.

The first batch of AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine arrived in Taiwan on Wednesday. This was reported by the central news agency of the island, citing sources at Taoyuan International Airport.

The delivery is carried out through the COVAX program. The batch size is not specified. It is expected that the details will be announced later at a press conference by the head of the health department Chen Shizhong. Previously, there was information that we are talking about 200 thousand doses.
