Christmas tree for Russian children was held in Seoul

New Year's holiday in the Republic of Korea gathered a record number of participants.

The Christmas tree was visited by 600 guests, including 300 children. A magician stepped in front of them. A merry New Year's performance "In search of Santa Claus" took place. The children were able to participate in round dances and games, take pictures with the New Year's magician, the Snow Maiden and the heroes of Russian folk tales.

A holiday for the children of Russian compatriots in Seoul was organized with the support of the Russian Embassy, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots.

Russian Ambassador Andrey Kulik congratulated everyone on the upcoming 2019. He highly appreciated the fact that for the first time in Seoul a Christmas tree was held for students of Russian-speaking schools in the Republic of Korea.

The parishioners of the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, representatives of the educational institution "Russian House" and the cultural and educational center "Pushkin House".
