Cambodia and Iran receive vaccine from Japan

Cambodia and Iran have received the first shipments of coronavirus vaccines from Japan as part of the international vaccine fair distribution system.


Japan plans to provide a total of 11 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine made in Japan to 15 countries through the COVAX global vaccine distribution mechanism. Minister Hun Sen.

Coronavirus infections and deaths have soared in Cambodia since April.

Iran received about 1.1 million doses on Friday. In June, the country again began to increase the number of new cases of infection. Since then, the daily rate of infections has repeatedly exceeded 20,000.
