Aurora started flying from Sakhalin to Japan again

After more than a year's break, the carrier resumed flights between cities.

As reported on the airline's website, flights are operated twice a week: on Tuesday and Friday. The twin-engine turboprop short-haul aircraft Bombardier Q-400 carries passengers. It is able to take on board up to 78 people and has a speed of up to 667 km/h. 

Departures are carried out from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport with arrival at Narita airport in Tokyo. Aurora said in a statement that the price of a one-way ticket, taking into account the airline's fees, starts from ₽15,855. The flight duration is 2 hours 50 minutes.

< br> The service for ordering air tickets on the official website of the carrier offers passengers tickets for ₽24,160 in the Budget class and for ₽31,710 in the Standard class. The cost includes taxes and fees. 

Direct flights from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Tokyo were discontinued in July 2017. The carrier does not report the reasons for the interruption in air traffic.
