Amur Region and Transbaikalia will receive funding for the restoration of schools and kindergartens

More than 20 buildings of kindergartens and schools will be renovated in Amur Region and Transbaikalia.


The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustinsigned an order on allocation of funds for overhaul over 20 buildings of schools and kindergartens damaged as a result of floods in Amur Region and Zabaikalsky Territory. This was reported on Sunday on the government's website.


“The Amur Region and Zabaikalsky Krai will receive federal funding for overhaul of kindergartens and schools whose buildings were damaged by floods last summer. Such orders were signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. With the help of federal funds, more than 20 buildings of educational institutions will be repaired in these two regions,” the message says.


It is noted that all work will be completed in 2022, and the money will come from the government's reserve fund.


The government continues to provide comprehensive financial support to the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, which suffered from floods last year, the message says.
