The Governor of the Altai TerritoryViktor Tomenkosigned a decree excluding the requirement to present documents confirming vaccination, including QR codes. This was reported by the press service of the government of the region.

"From March 1, a number of restrictions in the region are no longer valid, while certain measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection remain. The head of the region signed a new decree, which excludes the requirement to present documents, confirming vaccination, including QR codes. The norm on isolation of citizens over 60 who have not been vaccinated is canceled," the message says.

It is noted that restrictions on the maximum occupancy of theaters, cinemas, organizations, clubs, sports facilities, circuses. At the same time, a ban on mass events remains in the region. It does not apply to events in the premises of theaters, cinemas and other institutions. There are also requirements to observe the mask regime and social distance in public places.

"The authorities decided to soften the regime of restrictions against the backdrop of a noticeable improvement in the epidemiological situation in the region. The number of citizens who go to clinics with symptoms of coronavirus and SARS is steadily decreasing, moreover, in polyclinics for the adult population for the past two weeks, and in children's polyclinics - for three weeks. The number of calls to polyclinics is decreasing, the increase in the number of ambulance calls has stopped. In the coming days, the Ministry of Health of the Territory plans to reduce the total number of beds in covid hospitals, " - the message says.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 234,641 people have been confirmed coronavirus in the Altai Territory. 1 million 206 thousand 145 people are fully vaccinated in the region. The QR code system began to operate in the Altai Territory on October 30.
