Almost all coronavirus restrictions have been lifted in Buryatia

Most of the restrictions imposed in Buryatia due to the coronavirus pandemic have been lifted. Mass events remain banned until March 31, the head of the regionAleksey Tsydenov said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.

“I signed a decree on covid. We can talk about the complete removal of restrictions. Of the requirements remain: wearing masks indoors and transport, on the street you can be without them. The requirements for disinfection of premises remain - in general, this is important and useful even without covid. Mass events are still banned until March 31,” the message says.

In total, 125,753 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in Buryatia, 759 of them in the last 24 hours. 956 patients receive treatment in hospitals, the bed capacity is 72.6%. There are 5,578 people on outpatient treatment and observation. In total, 2,865 people died from COVID-19 with severe comorbidities, six of them in the last day.

Vaccination against COVID-19 continues in Buryatia. As of March 3, 495,609 people (68.8% of the adult population) were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine in the republic, 468,562 (65.1% of the adult population) with the second component. Revaccination was started by 143,206 people, completed by 127,631.
