Omega, with the participation of the Rambam Hospital, has won a tender to establish a laboratory at Ben Gurion Airport to perform a standard PCR test.


In total, more than 90 companies were registered to participate in the competition.

Omega promises to start work within 45 days. The testing service will be available to passengers both flying abroad and arriving in Israel. The cost of the test will be 44.88 shekels (about 1,000 rubles), and the results will be available within 14 hours.

In addition, passengers can take an express test for 135 shekels (about 3,000 rubles), received an answer within 4 hours.
“The creation of the laboratory is great news. The possibility of quick testing at the airport, of course, will have the most positive impact on the soon resumption of regular flights to Israel,” said Vladimir Shklyar, Director of the Department of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel in the Russian Federation and the CIS, Advisor to the Embassy of the State of Israel in the Russian Federation.

The company also promises to create an application that will help you book a time in line for testing and get a “medical passport” in Hebrew, English or any other language.

The laboratory will be located in the new wing of the airport - E. In the area of terminal No. 3, an inspection zone will be organized for citizens leaving the country. Passengers departing abroad will be able to get tested 72 hours before departure.
