Images of an animal of the Akita Inu breed named Masaru appeared in the popular Link messenger.

The set consists of 24 pictures and costs a little over $1. At the same time, part of the money goes to the Akita Inu support fund. Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova received Masaru as a gift from the Japanese after winning the 2018 Games in PyeongChang.

Last spring, the figure skater brought her dog to the shooting of a program on one of the Russian TV channels. Masaru was dressed in a ballet tutu, which repeats Zagitova's Olympic costume.

Previously, the athlete reported that she had dreamed of a dog of this breed all her life. However, Alina's parents did not allow Alina to have a pet, as he would require special care, and the figure skater was too small.

"Big Asia" has already reported that last month Alina Zagitova gave the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plush dog Akita Inu breeds. The politician received the athlete at his residence. He  congratulated the Russian woman on her success in figure skating and invited her to visit Akita Prefecture with Masaru.
