Afghanistan to resume international flights from next week

Afghanistan Airlines will start international flights next week.

National Afghan airline Ariana Afghan Airlines (Ariana Afghan Airlines) intends to resume international flights from next week. This was reported on Friday by the Afghan Urdu news resource on its Twitter page.

According to it, the new head of Ariana Afghan Airlines, Kari Rahmatullah, said that flights from Kabul to other countries will begin in the near future. International air travel will resume with technical support from Turkey and Qatar. The message of the resource does not indicate which countries the Afghan national air carrier intends to fly to.

Domestic flights in Afghanistan resumed on September 4, the authorities say that flights are carried out from Kabul to Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif and Kandahar. On September 7, Bakhtar News agency, citing the representative of the air carrier Mohammad Salim, reported that Ariana Afghan Airlines will resume international flights on the Kabul-Delhi-Kabul route on Thursday September 9, however, as shown by the schedule on the airline’s website and data from the Flightradar service, the flight did not take place.
