About a million Russians have completed the full course of vaccination with Epivacorona.

About a million Russian citizens have already been fully vaccinated with Epivaccorona. This was reported on Tuesday at the Vector Center of Rospotrebnadzor.

“Currently, about a million citizens in Russia have completed a full course of vaccination with this drug. The Epivaccorona peptide vaccine is easily tolerated and safe to use,” Vektor reported.

According to the center, a new batch of vaccines will soon arrive in the regions. “Vector-BiAlgam JSC, the industrial partner of the Vector Research Center of Rospotrebnadzor, has shipped a new batch of Epivaccorona for delivery to the regions. 1.3 million doses of full-cycle vaccine will go into civilian circulation. Another 1.3 million doses were shipped by Nacimbio, the scientific center noted.

Epivaccorona, developed at the Vector State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology of Rospotrebnadzor, became the second coronavirus vaccine registered in Russia. This happened on October 14, 2020. About a month later, the developers received permission to conduct post-registration studies, including among the elderly.
