The Ministry of Health of Abkhazia purchased from Russia another batch of the Sputnik Light coronavirus vaccine in the amount of 3 thousand doses. This was announced by the press service of the ministry on Thursday.

“Another batch of the Sputnik Light coronavirus vaccine has been purchased in the amount of three thousand doses. The vaccine has already been delivered to the warehouse of the Ministry of Health, from Friday it will be distributed to all our vaccination points, ”the words of the Minister of Health of the Republic Eduard Butba are quoted in the message. First of all, Sputnik Light will be used for revaccination, he stressed.

According to the press service, vaccination against COVID-19 in the capital of Abkhazia can be done at the Sukhumi City Clinical Hospital, as well as in every district of the republic at CRH.
