The uniqueness of the Russian vaccine lies in that the patient is given 2 injections spaced apart in time with an interval of 3 weeks, which gives stable immunity for at least 2 years. The drug is administered intramuscularly. The vaccine was developed by the Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F. Gamaleya and produced by subsidiary of AFK Sistema in Zelenograd.
