In Pakistan, 70% of schoolchildren aged 12 to 17 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.


At least 70% of students aged 12 to 17 in Pakistan, or 11.3 million students in this age group, are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. This was reported by the Express Tribune newspaper on Thursday, citing the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) to combat the spread of COVID-19.

According to it, 86% of all Pakistani schoolchildren received at least one dose vaccines against coronavirus.

Over the past 24 hours, 765 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Pakistan, 22 residents have died from the consequences of infection. Over the past day, 2,307 people have recovered. The total number of infected people since the start of the pandemic has reached 1,510,986, with 30,218 deaths.
