A laboratory for the development of human capital in the Arctic will open in Yakutia



In Yakutia, active work continues in the field of digitalization of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Arctic.
The Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts (AGIKI) plans to open a laboratory for the development of human capital in the Arctic in 2023. This was reported to journalists on Wednesday by the rector of the university Sargylana Ignatieva.
"This year, within the framework of the Priority 2030 program, a laboratory for the development of human capital in the Arctic is being created.
Work continues in the field of digitalization of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Arctic together with the National Library of Yakutia," Ignatieva said, speaking at the presentation of the experience of student scientific societies of educational institutions of higher education in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Russian Science.
The presentation of scientific projects was attended by students of three universities of Yakutia - AGIKI, NEFU and Churapchinsky State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
According to the Rector of AGICA, large-scale humanitarian research is conducted on the basis of the laboratory of geocultural branding, the research center of circumpolar civilization.
In 2022, AGIKI became the recipient of a grant under the track of the state program "Priority-2030. Far East", which is aimed at forming a pool of leading universities in the creation of new scientific knowledge, technologies and developments for implementation in the Russian economy and social sphere.
"Priority-2030" is a state program to support universities, implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science within the framework of the national project "Science and Universities". It is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the Russian Federation in the field of higher education, science, and technology. The program was launched on June 24, 2021, with a planned implementation period of 10 years.
