Uzbek children to be taught on buses

Mobile preschool groups will be created in the republic.


The pilot project was proposed by the Ministry of Education of the country. Classes in Isuzu HC 40 buses are planned to begin in the new academic year. Moreover, the transport will stand still while the lessons are in progress.

"Mobile groups are an integral part of the preschool education system," the Uzbek government said in a statement. The participants of the project will be children from 3 to 7 years old. But no more than 30 preschoolers will be in one bus at the same time. 

The duration of the classes will be 3-4 hours a day. The service will be free. The academic year, according to the initiative, will begin on September 2 and end on May 31. 

Recall that the republic decided to include new standards and technologies in the system of preschool education. Scientific research in the field of early childhood development is planned.
