The second season of the All-Russian school competition "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" starts

On September 4, within the framework of the youth WEF program, the announcement of the second season of the All-Russian contest “Look, this is Russia!” was announced. 

Aisen Nikolaev, Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), spoke about the imminent start of the project. The organizing committee of the competition included Natalia Naumova, Director of the Department of State Policy in the Field of Education, Additional Education and Children's Recreation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Ksenia Razuvaeva, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Elena Lysenkova, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism and Aleksey Agafonov, Deputy General Director of the ANO "Russia - Land of Opportunities". The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation also expressed support for the competition.

Aisen Nikolaev spoke about the demand for the project “Look, this is Russia!” among schoolchildren throughout the country and noted that, thanks to the support of partners, the competition, invented by the youth of Yakutia, has become a federal initiative.

“Together with our partners, we have decided that this project should be actively promoted in all regions of Russia. This is an indicator that Yakutia continues to create those projects that later become trends throughout our country. I am sure that this year our guys will take the most active part in the competition,” said Nikolaev.

The head of Yakutia also noted that the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Education of Russia have been supporting the competition for the second year already, and also thanked the partners who joined the organizing committee in the new season .

Olga Yarilova, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, addressed the participants and organizers of the project with a welcoming speech.

“Young people are the driving force behind the development of any state and society. And it is very important to help the young generation realize its potential, open the way to new knowledge and achievements. Competition "Look, this is Russia!" helps to reveal the creative possibilities of the younger generation, motivates to study the culture, geography and history of our Motherland. By participating in the project, young people gain invaluable experience that will contribute to personal growth and creative activity. I am convinced that this year the event will again bring together many talented children from different parts of the country. And I want to wish everyone fruitful work and new interesting discoveries!” - she noted.

Elena Lysenkova, deputy head of the Federal Tourism Agency, noted that the project “Look, this is Russia !" - a good tool to promote children's tourism.

“Today, Rostourism is actively developing the direction of children's cultural and educational tourism. At the same time, the mechanisms for such involvement of schoolchildren should be in the spirit of the time - dynamic, interactive. So that from school years, the guys were interested in traveling around their region and their country. It is these competitions that help increase the interest among the younger generation in travel and the discovery of new routes,” she explained.

Aleksey Agafonov, deputy general director of the ANO “Russia – Land of Opportunities”, defined that such projects as “Look, this is Russia! » help schoolchildren to realize their talent and at the same time get acquainted with the cultural traditions and historical heritage of Russia.

“The common goal of all projects that we create and support is to provide equal opportunities so that everyone can express themselves, realize their talent and potential, and bring their ideas to life. . Competition "Look, this is Russia!" - this is a great opportunity for schoolchildren from all over the country to start the path of finding themselves and embodying their creative ideas through acquaintance with the culture and history of their native land. For our part, we support this initiative - already this year two collaborations with the projects of the ANO "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" are planned within the framework of the "Masters of Hospitality" competition and the II Educational Online Expedition of the "My Country - My Russia" competition," he said.

All-Russian competition for the exchange of video postcards "Look, this is Russia!" was first implemented last year with the support of the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren. Already in the first year, the project attracted more than 17,500 participants from all regions of Russia. More than 200,000 people took part in the voting.
