Thai Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul plans to become the first person to test a domestically produced coronavirus vaccine on himself, reports The Thaiger.

The drug is being developed by specialists from the National Vaccine Institute at Chulalongkorn University. The minister will be the first human test subject since monkeys were the subjects of a medical experiment. The National Research Center for the Study of Primates has been testing these animals for a month and will prepare a report on the results by June 22.

Interestingly, this decision of the Minister of Health Anutin Charnvirakul was reported to journalists by the Minister of Transport Sasayam Chidchob, himself Mr. Charnvirakul so far he has not spoken about it publicly.

It should be noted that the Minister of Health of Thailand is famous in his country for unexpected and abrupt decisions. For example, he stated that foreigners should be kicked out of the country if they do not wear a protective face mask.
