Russian history test to be taken in India and China

The third annual test in  the history of the Fatherland, organized by the Youth Parliament under the State Duma, can be passed in in other countries of the world. 9 December test sites will be organized in Abkhazia, India, China and Iran, said Natalya Kuvshinova, a member of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs, to journalists.

“The test is traditionally held in Russian. This year it will be held on December 9th, on the day of the Heroes of the Fatherland. Delivery sites will be organized in all regions of the country and 47 foreign countries, including Iran, India, China and Abkhazia, 

She noted that, as a rule, families with children come to test their knowledge of the history of the Fatherland, however, the main target audience of the “exam” is students and high school students.

“The average age of test participants has not changed for the third year now; it is 19 years old,” Kuvshinova explained.
The parliamentarian stressed that today it is impossible to study history only within the framework of the school curriculum . In her words, it is necessary to use formats that are of interest to young people.

“In including such testing,” added Kuvshinova.
