Russian cosmonaut showed Turkmenistan from space

Russian test cosmonaut Ivan Vagner congratulated Turkmenistan on Independence Day with orbital images. The photos appeared on Wagner's Instagram account.


The test cosmonaut accompanied his images taken from orbit with brief information about the country.

Ivan Vagner, the 123rd cosmonaut of Russia, was born in 1985 in the village of Severoonezhsk, Arkhangelsk Region. Ivan Vagner left for the ISS on April 9, 2020. Together with Anatoly Ivanishin and Christopher Cassidy he joined the ISS-63 Expedition. They spent 187 days in Earth orbit and returned to Earth on October 22 of the same year.
