The head of Roscosmos visited the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

“We will develop our cooperation with the countries of the Middle East,” said Dmitry Rogozin, head of Roscosmos, who has recently visited 3 Arab states of the Persian Gulf.

The delegation held talks with the leaders of the Dubai Space Center named after Mohammed bin Rashid. The result was, in particular, the coordination of the program of flights to the ISS for cosmonauts from the UAE. Their preparation is already underway in Star City.

With the King of Bahrain, D. Rogozin discussed the prospects for cooperation in the space sector and the use of the results obtained for the development of the economy of Bahrain. Earlier it was reported that the head of Roskosmos is ready to offer in Manama, the capital of the kingdom, the participation of a Bahraini cosmonaut in the program of flights to the ISS. of the Kingdom's Space Agency by Prince Sultan bin Salman. Based on their results, it was decided to form a program of Russian-Saudi cooperation in space.
