Russia and Kyrgyzstan to discuss problems of journalism and media formats

Within the framework of the International Program "MediAsia" - Bishkek Week, a round table "Open dialogue between Russia and Kyrgyzstan: journalism, media and formats" will be held. 

Today, within the framework of the international media space, there are a number of controversial issues, topical problems, the solution of which is possible only through dialogue and exchange of experience between representatives of the expert community in the field of media and journalism.

Round table “Open Dialogue between Russia and Kyrgyzstan: journalism, media and formats” will become a platform for discussing the following topics:

  • How boring it is to cover Eurasian integration
  • How short should the text be to be read: have they left long reads to the past
  • The voice of society – are traditional media formats relevant, or are social networks now “at the helm” 
  • Points of contact between the media agenda of the media in Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
  • The event will be attended by journalists, editors from Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting will take place on July 15, 2021 at 18:00 (Bishkek time). 

The event is implemented by the Information and Analytical Center of Moscow State University for the Study of Social and Political Processes in the post-Soviet space (IAC MGU)| and the Rossiyskaya Gazeta office in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
