Roscosmos and CNSA are ready to continue cooperation on the moon
Roscosmos is ready to develop cooperation with China on the development of the Moon.
Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin said that the state corporation is ready to develop cooperation with China on the lunar program.
"Roscosmos is ready to deepen cooperation with the Chinese National Space Administration on the exploration and development of the Moon," Rogozin wrote in his telegram channel.
In November 2017, Roscosmos and the Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA) agreed on a cooperation program for 2018-2022. It includes six sections devoted to the study of the Moon and deep space, space science and related technologies, satellites and their applications, element base and materials, interaction in the field of remote sensing data of the Earth. Working subgroups were formed to implement this program. In March last year, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin and the head of the Chinese National Space AdministrationZhang Kejian signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation and implement a joint project to create an international Scientific Lunar Station.
