According to the press service of Lomonosov Moscow State University, entrance exams this year will be held remotely. Free online courses for students were opened immediately after the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Science.

"Admission of documents for the first year for foreign citizens begins on June 15, 2020. All entrance examinations will be held exclusively in a remote format," the rector said Moscow State University Victor Sadovnichy.

Victor Sadovnichy named the number of foreign students of the university - only in Moscow, excluding branches, there are about 8 thousand people.

"Year by year MSU demonstrates a steady increase in the number of foreign students admitted , last year this growth was about 15%, - Viktor Antonovich emphasized. - At the same time, about 2,700 students - foreign citizens enrolled in the first year in 2019. In 2020, we also expect about 3 thousand new students - foreign citizens. "< br>
Applicants from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Belarus strive to get a good education and a prestigious diploma every year. Citizens from neighboring countries make up about 30% of students. Another 50% of foreigners come from Asian countries: China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam. In total, students from 75 countries of the world study at the leading university in Russia.
