The head of Roscosmos met with the leadership of the UAE space industry

Director General of the state Corporation "Roscosmos" Yuri Borisov on Wednesday during a working visit to The United Arab Emirates (UAE) met with the leadership of the country's space industry and discussed with them the prospects for cooperation in the field of space. This was reported in Roscosmos.

"Yuri Borisov held talks with the State Minister for Education and Advanced Technologies of the UAE, the chairman of the Space Agency Sarah bint Youssef al-Amiri and the Director General of the UAE Space Agency Salem al-Kubaysi," the state corporation said in a statement.

"We are very pleased to see such a representative composition of participants of the meeting from your side, and I think this is the best confirmation of your country's interest in expanding and deepening our bilateral cooperation in the space sphere. Today I would like to present you a number of proposals on new areas of cooperation," the head of Roscosmos is quoted as saying.

The state corporation noted that Borisov also met with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the UAE Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Jaber. The meeting was dedicated to cooperation between Russia and the UAE in the space sector.
