Indian Navy successfully tested the BrahMos missile

On Sunday, the Indian Navy successfully tested a shipboard version of the BrahMos supersonic missile in the Arabian Sea.
According to officials, the rocket that was tested had a local "seeker and accelerator."
"The Indian Navy delivered a successful pinpoint strike in the Arabian Sea with a BrahMos missile launched from a ship, with homing and a launch vehicle developed by DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization of India - approx. editorial board), which reinforces our commitment to the principle of independence in defense," said a senior military official.
