The Russian leader pointed out that relations between Moscow and Manila are traditionally friendly.
“I hope that your activity as head of state will contribute to further development constructive Russian-Philippine cooperation in various fields. This fully meets the interests of our peoples, goes in line with strengthening security and stability in the Asia-Pacific region,” Vladimir Putin emphasized in a congratulatory telegram to Ferdinand Marcos.
