The Russian Foreign Ministry said earlier that the meeting with the head of the office of the Commission on Foreign Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China will be held by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The head of the office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Politburo member Wang Yi arrived in Moscow on a visit. This was reported to TASS on Tuesday by a source close to the organization of the visit.
"Wang Yi arrived in Moscow," the agency interlocutor said.
As the Russian Foreign Ministry told TASS earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold a meeting with Wang Yi on Wednesday.
On Monday, Wang Yi was in Budapest, where he met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto. Prior to that, the head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China visited the Munich Security Conference, on the sidelines of which he met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, as well as with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov did not rule out that Russian leader Vladimir Putin will meet with Wang Yi during his visit to Moscow.
