Currently, the Organization of Turkic States includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, while Turkmenistan and Hungary have observer status in the organization.


The summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held on November 11 in Samarkand. This was announced on Monday by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces the beginning of accreditation of representatives of foreign mass media to cover the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held on November 11, 2022 in Samarkand," the message reads.

Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council) It was established in 2009, in November 2021, at the Istanbul summit, the Turkic Council was transformed into an Organization of Turkic States, which currently includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan and Hungary have observer status in the organization.
