Dushanbe is hosting a meeting of the heads of the CIS foreign ministries.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin, opening the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS countries, noted the activities of Kazakhstan presiding in the Commonwealth. The next meeting of the heads of foreign policy departments of the CIS takes place on Friday in Dushanbe, reports corr. TASS.
“Our Kazakhstani friends as chairman of the CIS are doing a lot of work to deepen practical partnership in all key areas of cooperation in accordance with the priorities defined in the Concept of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Commonwealth,” the minister said.
He also specified that during the meeting, an exchange of views will be held on topical issues of the regional and international agenda, appropriate decisions will be made on the interaction of the participating countries in the Commonwealth format within the framework of Kazakhstan's chairmanship.
