President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev will pay a working visit to Moscow on Wednesday to attend a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Socio-Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and South Ossetia. This was reported to TASS on Tuesday by the press secretary of the head of the republic Natalia Bosikova.
"President Alan Gagloev has left on a working visit to the Russian Federation, where he will take part in the XXI meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Socio-Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia, which will be held on February 8 in Moscow," the presidential press secretary said.
According to the press service, the Intergovernmental Commission meeting will discuss the implementation of the state program of socio-economic development of South Ossetia for 2022-2025, the provision of financial assistance from the Russian Federation in 2023, the implementation of the investment program and other issues.
The press service of the Government of South Ossetia clarified that the participants of the meeting will also discuss the implementation of agreements concluded in the development of the treaty between the Russian Federation and South Ossetia on alliance and integration, integration of customs authorities of the two countries, cooperation in the field of pension provision. The meeting of the commission will be held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev.
