A government delegation from Shanghai has arrived on a visit to Taiwan



The official delegation of mainland China for the first time in the last three years arrived at Taiwan.
A government delegation from Shanghai arrived in Taiwan on Saturday to participate in the lantern festival and strengthen contacts with the Taipei City administration. This was reported by the central news agency of the island.
This is the first official visit of mainland Chinese representatives to Taiwan in the last three years. The Shanghai delegation consisting of six people was headed by Li, Deputy Head of the City Office for Taiwan Affairs Xiaodong. As the Taipei authorities clarified, the Shanghai delegation will be on the island until February 20.
