China intends to accelerate the modernization of agriculture

Nine years ago, Qingqing left her job as a teacher in the city and returned to her native village. Since 2019, she has been a farmer with 35 subordinates. Some villagers still do not understand the choice of Qingqing, but the girl does not pay attention to it. She is convinced that modern agriculture has a huge potential.

Yu Qingqing, Director of the Qingyuanxin Family Farm: "The country's leadership provides substantial support to agriculture.
I have watched young people take advantage of this opportunity and become successful farmers. And then I decided to open my own business."

Now in China, more than 500 million people live in rural areas. This is about 40% of all residents of the country. This population structure makes the Chinese model of agricultural modernization not similar for foreign ones.

Despite the fact that agriculture is developing, there are still many difficult tasks: it is necessary to increase the efficiency of agricultural enterprises and expand profit channels for farmers. Now there are about 4 million family farms and more than 2 million agricultural cooperatives in China. All of them are connected and integrated into the system of modern agriculture of the country.
