Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan signed a new agreement on air communication

Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan signed an intergovernmental agreement on air communication.


An intergovernmental agreement on air communication between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan was signed on Wednesday in Baku as part of the official visit of the head of the Kyrgyz state Sadyr Japarov to Azerbaijan. This was reported by the press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan.


“An agreement has been signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on air communication,” says the message.


Representatives of the parties also signed on April 20 in Baku a memorandum on the establishment of a bilateral Interstate Council, an agreement on cooperation in the field of agriculture and agreement on cooperation between the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC.


According to the press service, a memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Ministries of Finance of the two countries, a memorandum on the development of cooperation in  technologies, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of protection of intellectual property and a memorandum of cooperation between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kyrgyzstan and Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan, and also a memorandum of cooperation  State Service for antimonopoly and control consumer market.


As the press service recalled, as a result of the talks between the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, a declaration on strategic partnership between the two states was signed Wednesday.


Sadyr Japarovarrived on a two-day official visit to Baku on 19 April.
