China will continue to pursue an independent and independent peaceful foreign policy



China will steadily adhere to an independent and independent peaceful foreign policy, resolutely follow the path of peaceful development. This was stated by Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang at the opening of the first session of the National People's Congress of the 14th convocation in the House of People's Assemblies in Beijing.
"We will unwaveringly develop relations of friendship and cooperation with all countries of the world based on the five principles of peaceful coexistence, consistently promote world peace, contribute to global development and protect the international order. China is ready, together with the world community, to implement the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative, to spread the common values of humanity, jointly with all countries to contribute to building a community of a common destiny of humanity, to protect world peace and maintain stability in the region," the Chinese premier stressed.
The five principles of peaceful coexistence, which are the fundamental principles of China in developing friendly relations with other countries of the world, include: mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity; mutual non-aggression; non-interference in each other's internal affairs; equality and mutual benefit; peaceful coexistence.
