The cadets of the Diplomatic Cadet School of the First Moscow Cadet Corps warmly congratulated Marina Mikhailovna Karlova on her birthday.

Marina Mikhailovna is the Honorary President of the A. Karlov Memorial Foundation and the widow of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to the Republic of Turkey Andrey Karlov, who died in 2016 at the hands of a terrorist.

The cadets wished Marina Mikhailovna health and success in the work of the Foundation, and also discussed plans for further meetings with her and invited her to a Charity concert of classical and folk music in honor of the Day of the Diplomatic Worker, which will be held on February 10.

In recent years, cooperation between the Foundation and the Diplomatic Cadet School has strengthened and increased. So, in the second half of last year, several interesting meetings of cadets with diplomats, representatives of the Diplomats' Wives Club and the MGIMO Diplomatic Club, which were organized by the Foundation, took place.

The TV channel "Big Asia" is an information partner of the Andrey Karlov Memorial Foundation. The cooperation agreement was signed in 2018 as part of the opening of Andrei Karlov Street in Demre, Turkey.
